Weeping Willow trees can be found mostly on moist soil, but the most important feature of a Willow tree is its’ roots because this aggressive system can do serious damage to the things around it and without the right food source it can do detriment to itself. Why am I talking about Willow trees? Well, Weeping Willow trees symbolize learning, growth, strength, but this tree represents ME! Walking in truth begins with truly knowing God, who he is to you, his character, and the promises that he made. As Willow I’ve learned to trust God because Jesus thought enough of me to sacrifice himself. Operating in truth requires me to bend without breaking and when Willow trees are planted in the right area with the right source then the tree can be healthy. Therefore, I’ve learned to stick with Jesus because he is my Lord so he will supply all of my needs and like a Willow tree I need to stay near God and drink abundantly from God’s living water to be healthy. The hardest part about drinking from the living water is that when you receive the truth about yourself, relationships, people, and needs vs. desires about life it can be challenging. The Bible says to persevere in prayer so that encourages me to push through even when doubt whispers “who am I”, whispers that “I am making this up”, whispers that “I don’t have anything to say”, and sometimes it takes more discipline, but you’ll have the strength to challenge these whisper when your planted close to the living water. When you find truth, you find so much more that will set you free because “The word of the Lord in your mouth is truth” 1 Kings 17:24 so you’ll find Willow speaking her truth, walking out her relationship with God in hopes that you can relate and be freely in Christ.

Unfortunately, I heard everything; violence resonated loud from the next room and fear and disappointment became a comforting friend.
1,000 Hallelujahs
Learning that I can safely surrender myself, that I can bear all of me, that I can trust Gods love for me because “Even when the way goes through Death Valley, I’m not afraid when you walk at my side. Your trusty shepherd’s crook makes me feel secure.” Makes me wanna sing 1,000 Hallelujahs! Psalm…
Willow That’s Me!
I have been everything to someone but, Willow. I mean, I’ve been belittled so someone else could feel great, people labeled me everything other than my name. Not to mention, the ones that said, “they loved me” all the while using and taking while giving nothing in return and all of that was before I…
